Writer in Residence at Leytonstone Festival and Leyton Day Celebration

I have been working with a group of Waltham Forest writer since the spring. The group consists of ethnic minority groups, under eighteens and over fifties. Our weekly meetings at Leytonstone library have produced a collection of stories and poems on theme of identity. I have also been working with under eighteens at the Limes Children's Centre. The anthology is due to be launched at the Leyton Day Celebrations 9th September.
The Spoken Word evening at Leytonstone library was a wonderful celebration of the local writing talent in the borough.
The launch of the Anthology went beautifully! The event was attended by a broad section of the community. You caqn down load a copy from this site or pick a copy at the William Morris Museum or Vestry House.
